Enterprise Risk Management or ERM is key in terms of corporate governance.
Former BEST RE has embarked into an ambitious plan to enhance its risk management and control processes since the second half of 2008. A three-year plan has been launched accordingly in partnership with renowned international expertise. Serious progress is being made on this front ontributing to disseminate the ERM culture across the company.
In addition to ERM-dedicated Board committees and sub-committees involving both management and staff, the introduction of a new capital model in the second half of 2010 is a major step in aligning the company with the best practices in the industry.
